The cake is traditionally crafted after grinding selected mung beans into powder. Supplemented with visible slivers of almonds, it has a tangy almond flavour, and it is tender, with a dense and satisfying texture.
The company began with a bakery near Ban Zhang Tang (also known as St. Dominic’s Church), in the Historic Centre of Macao, and set up a factory in Zhongshan city in 2000. Its products include a wide range of traditional Chinese cakes, such as pastries, biscuits, egg rolls, cookies, traditional Cantonese cakes, and wedding pastries, as well as dried meat and preserved fruit.
