The Tourism Administration is included in the economic and financial category. Liu Weiming, Chairman of the Administration Committee of the International Trade Promotion Council, said that it will further enhance the linkage between business and tourism. This year, the Tourism Administration will jointly promote the "Convention + Tourism" in the Mainland to attract business visitors.

Liu Weiming said that in recent years, the Macau convention and exhibition industry is gradually accelerating its professional and market-oriented development. In the related development process, it also brings more high-spending and long-stay business travelers to Macau, and creates greater benefits for the local economy. In particular, it drives consumption in retail, catering and other industries.

Since last year, the IPIM and the Tourism Bureau have organized events such as exhibition and tourism promotion activities during the "Beijing Macau Week" to promote the comprehensive advantages of Macao's exhibition and tourism. At the same time, through different methods such as referral services and door-to-door visits of the representative offices of the IPIM, the relevant tourism departments and enterprises in different cities in the Mainland are promoting measures to avoid isolation when entering Macau. At present, 62 tourism organizations have been visited and forwarded to the customer base through them, to strengthen the promotion of Macau's image as a safe city.
