This wooden puzzle music box is themed around Kun Iam Tong. This is one of the largest and most historically significant temples in Macao, built during the late Ming Dynasty, over 360 years ago. The majestic architecture comprises multiple courtyards. Kun Iam Tong is renowned not only for its long history but also as the site where the 'Treaty of Mong Ha' between China and the U.S. was signed. The structure features three richly decorated halls dedicated to the Precious Buddhas, the Buddha of Longevity and Kun Iam. The piece includes an incense burner and the famous fish lantern from Shunde’s intangible cultural heritage. The base is surrounded by traditional Chinese auspicious cloud patterns.
