The “Intangible Heritage Series - Coffee Books” draws inspiration from Macao’s renowned intangible cultural heritage buildings, translating their architectural styles, colour palettes, and histories into unique coffee flavours. For example, the Holy House of Mercy - a white building and a charity organisation that has promoted benevolence and equality for more than 400 years, inspired a flavour of caramel and milk, capturing the building’s comforting and peaceful essence.
Established in 2023, the brand “1819 Macau Coffee Lab” reinterprets Macao’s culture and Chinese stories through innovative design. Its goal is to create a city gift brand that blends local culture and global appeal to share the beauty of Eastern culture with the world.
