        Macao original swimwear brand GODDESS ARMOUR mainly engages in uniquely designed female lingerie, swimwear and perfume. The bold design and mixture of different fabrics and accessories elements are signature of the brand, presenting the elegance and sexy charm of women. GODDESS ARMOUR has held fashion shows in various places in recent years. Potinja Choi, founder of the brand and owner of Potinja Group Limited, is exploring different fields and striving to bring Macao's original brand to the international stage. Uniqueness and innovation as priority

        When it comes to design, Potinja Choi did not study to be a designer as many may think, but rather through her pursuit of beauty since childhood, her observation and self-study, from which she could learn through continuous practice. After graduating from high school in Macao in her early years, she immediately went to study in Italy and continued her interest in tailoring clothes since her childhood. In addition, she has read various design books and cultivated a good sense of beauty in architecture and cultural colors by travelling, which has contributed to a casual and creative style of cutting and matching nowadays. In recent years, the brand has held brand fashion shows in Milan, Hong Kong and Macao. In particular, the classic butterfly series of GODDESS ARMOUR swimwear made the brand famous.


        A well-fitting swimwear is the key to girls' self-confidence. The brand focuses on making western style swimwear, with bold designs and a variety of color combinations. In particular, elements such as silk cotton, gold embroidery and pearls are used for the swimwear, making it practical and artistic at the same time. This feature brings a luxurious experience to customers and attracts more women to support this Macao swimwear brand. Currently, the brand’s original lingerie and swimwear are patterned, cut and sewn by manufacturers in the Mainland. In addition to focusing on aesthetics, GODDESS ARMOUR swimwear prefers to use environmentally friendly fabrics and materials to reduce pollution. In terms of fitting and comfort, it is necessary to master the best curvature, size ratio and fineness of suture position. The birth of a finished product involves many steps and procedures, which takes about half a year to complete.

        GODDESS ARMOUR attaches great importance to market expansion. At present, the brand not only has a retail store in Dubai, but also set up a sales area at MGM Macao’s spa last year, which has been well-received by many customers. Moreover, GODDESS ARMOUR is actively supporting multiple beauty contests at home and abroad, sponsoring swimwear to beautiful contestants from all over the world, hoping to bring this Macao original brand to the international stage. Recently, GODDESS ARMOUR is developing perfume products in co-operation with Hong Kong perfumers and exploring different fields from multiple angles. In terms of online marketing, customers at home and abroad can now purchase products through Macao's cross-border e-commerce platform, or visit the Facebook site of GODDESS ARMOUR to follow the latest products each season. Furthermore, in order to expand customer base, the brand plans to launch male swimwear.

 

Joining “Macao Ideas” to enrich Macao original brands

        Potinja Choi says that as a clothing brand originated from Macao, her brand has been supported by relevant government departments in its development. In particular, her products have entered the “Macao Ideas” – a display centre under the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) – for presentation and promotion, so as to integrate the brand into the Greater Bay Area and further to go global. Potinja Choi is optimistic about the brand’s future prospects. At present, many mainland manufacturers have shown interest in co-operation, manifesting that their products have received attention in the industry. After the epidemic, GODDESS ARMOUR aims to set up brick-and-mortar shops or retail counters in ten countries and regions within five years to help promote Macao original brands.
