In November 2019, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group (Macau) International Development Co. Ltd. was officially established in Macao. Against the backdrop of strong government support for the traditional Chinese medicine industry, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group chose to set up its international headquarters in Macao and root itself in Hengqin, fully leveraging Hengqin's traditional Chinese medicine industrial park and the experiences from the "Belt and Road" initiative to embrace new opportunities for the internationalisation of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.

Innovative Collaboration Marks a New Chapter

Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group is committed to innovation and collaboration in the traditional Chinese medicine industry, introducing compound Ban Lan Gen granules and launching a low-sugar version suitable for the Macao market, while enriching the product line.

Diversified Product Line Layout

Currently, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group has two main product lines: food and medicine. In terms of food, they have introduced products such as lingzhi spore powder and spore oil, and collaborated with the Macua Chinese Medical Association to develop lung-nourishing and kidney-tonifying capsules. In the pharmaceutical sector, they have launched products like bezoar detoxicating tablet and peaceful palace bovine bezoar pill. This showcases the group’s diversified development strategy.

IPIM Building Bridges

With the support of IPIM, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group quickly completed the necessary procedures to establish itself in Macao and start promotional activities at IPIM’s Macao Ideas. Their products are now available in major local pharmacies and large department stores for offline sales, contributing to the long-term development of Macao's traditional Chinese medicine industry.
