The founder of Lai Kei Bakery Ltd. had focused on producing candied products until 2003, when Tin Kam Hou realised that egg rolls, almond cookies and other popular souvenirs were not available in local supermarkets. This supply shortage inspired him to create a brand of selling baked goods. In order to reduce competition, he moved his production factory to Zhuhai in 2007, later obtaining, ISO22000 and HACCP food certifications.

Lai Kei Bakery holds very strict requirements for raw materials, especially for the use of oil. The raw materials from the new suppliers are all given oxidation value tests every six months. In addition, the unique production techniques are also highlighted, such as steamed peanuts and fried pork floss, in order to ensure the delicate taste and high quality of each product.
Moreover, to differentiate itself from other brands, Lai Kei Bakery invited the artist Anton to create the unique literary and artistic packaging by combining calligraphy and paintings. Faced with the fierce competition in the market, Lai Kei Bakery always finds a way through its own brand and high quality. Its participation in the China International Import Expo attracted the attention of a number of businesspeople from home and abroad. In addition, by participating in exhibitions organised by IPIM, Lai Kei Bakery has co-operated with many outstanding dealers, helping the brand to expand its share in the national market.
