“Macau Fazau” (Macau Flower Wine) captures the storied legacy of over 400 years of cultural exchange unfolded in Macao along the ancient Maritime Silk Road.

During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, as Macao opened its port to the world, exotic Persian flowers—most notably the fragrant Rosa × odorata—were introduced into China through this gateway city. Locals began cultivating these blossoms and brewing wine from them, creating a floral liquor that is recorded as one of the region’s earliest famed spirits.

Fazau Wine Co., Ltd. holds a valid industrial license issued by the Macao government. Certified by SGS and approved as duty-free under CEPA, its products have been featured at the China International Import Expo and other prominent international trade fairs for consecutive years—earning widespread acclaim. The wines are popular across Macao and are also exported to  the Chinese mainland. These fine liquors have been selected as branded products in both IPIM’s “Macao Ideas” and the “MinM Plaza” of Industrial Association of Macau.

In 2024, it became the first Chinese Baijiu to earn at once the “M-Mark” Quality Product Certification from Macao and the “Q-Mark” Product Quality Certification from Hong Kong—an achievement that marks a significant milestone in the industry.
