Collection Featuring the Ruins of St. Paul’s: The Symbol of Macao
MJade infuses the charm of Macao into the brand’s first collection, the Ruins of St. Paul’s. Inspired by Macao’s landmark, the Ruins of St. Paul’s, elements such as doves, the cross, the Sun and the Moon from sculptures at the top of the façade of the Ruins were subtly incorporated into the collection. As Macao used to be renown for oyster farming, seawater oyster shells were chosen as the base for the silver jewellery, allowing it to showcase the city’s multicultural and historical heritage.

The masterpiece of this collection is the Lucky Ring, which is unique in that it rotates like a windmill, symbolising good luck and constant happiness. The ring is made of S925 sterling silver and plated with 18K gold. A vintage edition is also available, catering to the needs of visitors to Macao who are looking for souvenirs with Macao characteristics.

Inspired by the green colour of the regional flag of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Macao Green collection chooses malachite from many alternatives since its colour is the closest to the green of the regional flag, to present the elegance of Macao Green, so that visitors can remember Macao through their jewellery.
Supported by IPIM: Going from Macao to the World
The person in charge of the brand was unfamiliar with the procedures of establishing a company at the beginning of the venture, and was advised by a friend to use the services of Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), which provide specialised assistance in the whole process of setting up a company. According to Chao Wai In, seeing the strong support provided by the government agencies to entrepreneurs has given him more confidence in his entrepreneurial journey.

In the future, the brand plans to launch jewellery collections related to the Greater Bay Area. With Macao as its starting point, the brand will integrate elements of Chinese culture to further expand its customer base and go global. It will provide customers with high-quality silver jewellery, enabling people around the world to appreciate the unique charm of Macao.
