This wooden puzzle music box is inspired by the A-Ma Temple in Macao. The entrance features a Pailou-style granite archway with a single door, inscribed with 'Mazu Pavilion.' Flanking the entrance are couplets, and the roof is adorned with glazed tiles, topped with a decorative Ao turtle supporting a precious pearl. The patterns at the base draw inspiration from the floral designs of the temple's exterior and auspicious motifs from its roof. The goddess's face at the front of the archway is crafted by Ms. Zhang Zexun, a professor at the University of Macau and a fifth-generation inheritor of Chinese intangible cultural heritage in clay sculpture. This piece also features the Macao Light Rail, a palanquin for Mazu's outings, and ancient maritime imagery of stone ships. Number of pieces: 152; Material: Linden wood; Music: "Laputa: Castle in the Sky".
