01 Inspiration brought by a French film
The IP character of Chillma is derived from a French film called “Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain” (The fabulous destiny of Amélie Poulain). which tells the story of a girl who does her best to bring happiness to her depressed father. She gives her father’s “Garden Gnome Jimiz” to a neighbour, who is a flight attendant and for the latter to take it on trips around the world. This touching story is the source of inspiration for Ho Ka I’s IP design.

02 Unique Concept of Sprout Pencil
Sprout Pencil
Chillma’s best-selling product is the unique sprout pencil with a tip made of a real seed. After the pencil is used, the seed can be inserted into soil to grow a plant, which extends the role of the “Garden Gnome Jimiz”.

03 Motivation of creation and co-operation opportunities brought by active participation in exhibitions

Inspired by the colours of Macao’s architecture, Ho Ka I has designed a series of postcards to present Macao’s buildings in elevation, lined up to form a “Macao Street”. When Chillma set up a sales booth at the Macau Grand Prix, she was touched by a child who asked its parents to buy a ticket just to buy her products, this small thing has become her motivation of creation.

Through participating in events like the Macao Franchise Expo (MFE) organised by Macao Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), Chillma has successfully increased the visibility of Macao’s unique IP culture. Ho Ka I hopes to co-operate with more brands and create more refreshing sparks to reach new heights of creation.
