Brands promoting culture   Products carrying memories

In 2020, in response to Macao's tourism development strategy, the Company's Managing Director, Wu Kam Hon, launched the "Travessa, Beco & Pátio" cultural tourism promotion project to add a new dimension to Macao's "in-depth tourism". The company has designed the puppy IP character "Wai Wai" and publishes articles, photos and videos on Macao's "Travessa, Beco & Pátio" culture on various media platforms, sharing the little-known historical tales of Macao’s Travessa do Pastor, Pátio do Bonzo, Escada do Coxo. This is a great way to discover the more interesting cultural aspects of Macao with the public.

The "Travessa, Beco & Pátio" project is based on the memories of people's lives in the past, creating more than 40 cultural and creative products such as toothpick holders in the shape of old Macao mailboxes, Portuguese-style ceramic coasters, bookmarks of Macao streets, "Wai Wai" refrigerator magnets and canvas bags. It also recreates children’s games of the 1960s and 1970s with a series of nostalgic products such as sandbag throwing, hopscotch and bamboo stick picking. In 2021, the company presented the  “Greater Bay Area Flying Chess” set for the China International Aerospace Expo in Zhuhai. In addition to incorporating elements from the cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the flying chess pieces are also transformed into Macao's popular speciality food to promote the "Macao brand".

The company has joined IPIM’s “Macao Ideas”. Through the participation of “Macao Ideas, Join & Match” Business-matching Showcase organised by IPIM, business matching sessions were held with local and overseas business guests to help identify business opportunities and expand the market. In the future, the company hopes to promote their products and Macao's "Travessa, Beco & Pátio" culture to the Mainland and even Portuguese-speaking countries through the MICE platform and promotional activities organised by IPIM.

Currently, apart from the official website, mobile apps and social media platforms of the "Travessa, Beco & Pátio" project, the company has also organised the "Finding the Story of Travessa, Beco & Pátio" competition, encouraging participants to explore the lanes and alleys, discovering the footprints of the past and present.
