The brand name “Schoggi Meier” originated from the smiling sun drawn by the Swiss founder Jurg Meier (Mr. Sunny). The brand has always upheld and continued its passion and sense of mission arising from Swiss chocolate making. Ieng Ka Sun, the General Manager of Schoggi Meier revealed that the selected raw materials have been strictly controlled by the company. In order to ensure that the chocolate is top quality, they have co-operated with Felchlin, the Swiss chocolate ingredient producer, who has a history of over 100 years and is famous for its taste and quality. Each cocoa bean selected can even be traced back to its origin, ensuring customers’ confidence with transparency and high standards.
Ieng Ka Sun also shared a tip on how to judge the quality of a piece of chocolate. If you just hold it in your hand and the chocolate starts to melt after 5 seconds, this indicates high quality. She explained that the melting point of chocolate made from high-purity cocoa butter is close to human body temperature, and has the smoothest sensation in mouth.

With the continuous advancement of science and technology, mechanisation and standardisation in the factory is becoming a trend. However, Schoggi Meier has insisted on fresh production daily and adopted a semi-automatic production method. That is, the basic process of chocolate making is carried out by machinery, but the later decoration process still handmade, as if to give each piece of chocolate it’s uniqueness, thus keeping the creativity.. Ieng Ka Sum said, in recent years, the customers’ needs have become more personalised and diverse. The company provides customers with tailor-made cakes, sweet French pastries, biscuits and chocolates. according to their needs, so as to give customers beautiful and sweet memories from their unique and creative designs. In addition, they have also co-operated with large hotels or other organisations to make special desserts that are both externally and internally attractive.
